Impacts

In recent weeks there have been some fascinating news articles about dinosaur and other fossils found in North Dakota quite possibly resulting from the hour of the Chicxulub asteroid  impact more than 65 million years ago—a remarkable event, certainly. (https://www.newyorker.com/maga...rs-died)

But impacts can come in many forms—the impact of new scientific discoveries, of new religious or political ideas, of traffic accidents—the range is enormous. This prompt asks for stories centered around ideas concerning some such impacts, as imaginative as possible. Due May 27.
