Lavender Ribbons, #9

He was new to the ribbons.  The machine accepted his ticket, and the soundproof door swished open for him, then shut again.

No one had told him to keep his underwear on.  Actually, no one had told him anything.  He thought it would feel special to go without.  It did.  It felt so special.  It felt absolutely incredible, until two of the lavenders got in a fight over him.  He'd made the mistake of stroking one.  He fancied the lavenders.  That did it; they went wild, then.

It felt special to take such a young one, and in such a fit of passion, at that.  It had been a long time since they'd had a virgin.  And, the tender young thing had forgotten his underwear.

His death mask would go on the wall with the others, where they could enjoy feeling its contours, every now and then.  As they stroked it, they would remember watching him, after they'd begun to wrap him up.  They never had to go above the waist.  They watched until they'd put the finishing wrap on the package.  They put a bow on it.  What fun it had been.  He'd driven back the unending silence, for a while.
