Eclipse Capsizes Boat – Three Missing

In a bizarre event, a sail boat on Lake Woobegon, overloaded with eclipse watchers capsized. The watchers were all on one side of the boat when a flock of birds passed by. Totality occurred at that time and the birds seeking a roost for the "night" landed on the rigging of the boat. This caused the boat to list more and in a short time it capsized. The passengers, many without life jackets, slipped into the water. State police and the Coast Guard are still searching for the missing. Their names are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
