Let's try this again, a second entry. See, I told you I wasn't very good at this. It's been a few weeks already. My blog future doesn't look bright, especially when I'm trying to revise a book, write a story for a critique deadline, and buy a business...

Not much writing to report. Been pecking at Mercury Rising (working title) my second GenE story. It's going to be significantly longer than my first GenE story. It doesn't seem to want to come out of me yet, but maybe I haven't tried hard enough. Lots of other things occupying my thoughts and I don't write well when my mind is focused on sixty other things.

Going to a childrens writing conference a week from Friday, then another in June. Started an in-person group in Traverse City. Have a whopping three people (including me) after months of pushing and prodding and emails. Gotting a meeting for that tomorrow. Oh, and the piano tuners coming.

Elizabeth came up with "Generation Gap" at the chat tonight. Perhaps I'll use that name as I it fits very well with what the story I'm trying to write. I do like "Mercury Rising", but that was used by a crappy movie a number of years ago. Ugh. :smt117

That's enough for tonight.

Quirky tidbit: I've played 37 games of Settlers of Catan since January 1st, 2006.
