So. I just joined . . .

But it looks as if this whole site is starting to die. I was really interested in the Projects section, but there's nothing there . . .or am I just blind?

I love using bulletin boards, because - well, it's easy to keep straight who's saying what.

Hi Laurie, We go through

Hi Laurie,

We go through phases of intense activity, then go quiet for a while. If you start using the bulletin board, I suspect others will jump in to join the conversation. You should have access to the Projects area now, but you do have to be logged in to see/participate in the Projects area. Our focus is our email-based story critiques, which you should see in your inbox soon.

There's a core of active

There's a core of active people, doing critiques and surfing the boards, but when people get busy, this bboard is usually the thing that gets shuffled off people's "to-do" list.

Hi Laurie, We're not dead,

Hi Laurie,

We're not dead, just a bit slow at the moment. Our membership is down a bit and that does slow things down. So jump in and start something. The forums are easy to use but I don't really know how the project area is supposed to be used.

P.S. I went to the project area and played around. I added a "How To" section so it should be easy to get started. Don't worry about breaking anything, Anneliese can fix it.

"Don't worry about breaking

"Don't worry about breaking anything, Anneliese can fix it."

Really? I'd like to meet that Anneliese person, then.
